It's 8 more days to the chemistry 2 summer examination

the reason why Im not back in Singapore celebrating CNY is because Im stuck in melbourne doing a 6 week summer course on chem 2! Well it's a prerequisite subject so I have no choice but to suck it up and go through it. teeehee and I AM enjoying my summer classes actually.. learnt new concepts, made new friends, new experiences and I found a summer job @ subway as well :D

chemistry 2 has so much stuff for us to know and we don't even have swotvac study breaks this time round so it's just lectures done, bam!!! exams are here :( No way right!!!

Anyway I've moved places : from a 44sqm twin share to a 23sqm studio apartment

It's seriously insanely small now but superbly cozy and I loooove it so much teeheee! The whole block has apartments of different coloured walls on different levels, my floor's yellow so my room's yellow-themed! Brightens up my day first thing in the morning :')

Welllllll! Mumsy was in melbourne 28/1 - 4/2 to mainly help with the house moving :') and also to see meeeeeee, haha! I miss her now :C She painfully helped with the packing+unpacking+arrangement+decorations and Im truly grateful for that ♥

First day of SWOTVAC (study) week and it almost felt like classes for the term haven't ended. Thats cuz we've a really really packed day to start with! 10-1, 1-2, 2-330 pheeew all rushing to different venues within 5 minutes *breathe in breathe out*

Anyway weather's insane these few days! Like 10 deg yesterday, 13 deg awhile ago in the afternoon and a few more deg down later at night. Some people are still wearing short sleeved shirts around though ;) iRESPECT.

Reviewing lectures on the paddy now teehee! Updated it to IOS 5 yesterday and nearly had a heart attack because some of my apps aren't IOS 5 compatible, so the WHOLE ipad crashed and none of the apps are working. My lectures.. essays... OMG. Hyperventilated. Died. Then reluctantly restored it back to factory condition and got the apps back in..........................................................................

A lazy saturday afternoon

My last post was on.. let's see hmm 29 August (!!!!!), so it's been > 1 month and coming to 2 months of not blogging. Why so stagnant stagnant stagnant now now now now! no no no!

Anyway the month of September was pretty awesome, had 5 days of Gold coast's fresh summery tropical air, but coming back to icy cold Melbourne having a post-GC trauma for a while! Decked in tank tops and shorts parading everywhere not realizing it's actually near 10 degrees... only started to wrap myself after a few days later.

Shreya actually came over to melbourne during my september break! Spent an evening with her @ Lygon for italian food, then some "late night" shopping @ Chaddy & that's all! :( Been feeling bad for not spending more time because of the Gold Coast trip! I guess we just can't have the best of both worlds hahaha

Involved in a Chinese musical production by Melbourne uni's Chinese music group (CMG): The Original Mulan Musical. I play the keyboard (harp) & there some intense rehearsals going on before the actual shows started, met fellow mulan musicians and yes it's all so tiring but memorable :')

Now when I think of it.... the participation's worth it because it's always amazing when music lovers get together and make music ;) The cast was mind blowing like really really awesome people! Yeah it's a musical, like glee where there's the story line with constant singing and dancing to music + live orchestra. Furthermore.... the musical's about Mulan! - how she was actually reluctant to serve in army in her father's position. Great great great stuff :3 & my people who came to peng chang, wo ai ni men!!!

Mulan post production party (PPP) last night. WHY DID I BRING A DEAD CAMERA? Now I end up pictureless! :'( I swear now to take more pictures of whatever I do now. Pictures are good memory stimulators alright.. teehee anyway PPP was pretty good: Club Eve. Asian night. Booze. Karaoke. Friends. Dancing. Free entry. Except for the fact that I had a little too much than I can take and went clueless after my fifth shot but jack. was. there! :D

So yeah a lazy saturday afternoon after a hectic PPP night .________.

Wednesday classes today ohmybababudangod it can actually get so tiring.. Can't believe how I could withstand secondary school's timetable with CCA as well.. but then again it's different right? Uni's like this prolly due to the extreme pace that the lecturer goes, totally insane. Together with the massive amount of knowledge u need to comprehend in the 1 hour's time..

SeRiousLY it's so darn easy to lose out in Uni.

Teeehee but that's based on the 2 week experience I've got so far though :p

Other than that Uni in 2 weeks for me had been a great experience.

Stumbled to popular today and unknowingly walked to chemistry books, I swear I forgotten loads of what i learnt :/ It's not even funny omg! All the organic reactions & my periodic reactivity series! I seriously gotta do some revision. haha checked the prerequisite subjects for the animal health and disease specialisation and they're like chemistry 1, chemistry 2, biology of cells & organisms, genetics & evolution of life, physics 1. Chemistry and biology as the main focus. & PHYSICS omfg, oh no I think PHYSICS is the one that needs some backup.. I've got a C6 for O levels ok damn it hahaha and yesyes physics and chemistry.

My flight back melby's booked, on the 14th July while uni admission starts a few days later :) Can't wait for uni life, but yet a tad tired of making new friends again.. haha I cannoooottttttt wait to see my trinity friends in uni! Always glad to see someone familiar in a different surrounding.. but why must leni go to monash WHY and why must jack go to rmit WHY WHY WHY WHY but I have bel ;) hehehe!

I can forsee my life in 6 months would be piled up with work and stress that i'd never imagine. hahahaha which is why i need an ipad HMMMMMMMM MUMMY*COUGHCOUGH* teeheee but I NEED a new swimming costume, outgrown my old one.

haha i just pierced my left ear today* for the 2nd time this year. DAMN IT KEPT CLOSING ON ME! Hate to feel the 1 second pain when the gun comes to the ear :@ Why didn't I go through the traditional ol' method of ear piercing when I was young, mummy why~ Especially when I have earlobes as thick as a buddha (Hehehe no worries, Im a buddhist) :C so thick so more meat is being pierced, hehe ewww.

OMGGGGGGGGGGG I CAN DO THIS!

Blogger said my mail account had some random shiz so they won't let me in... but here I am, finally!
Been back here in Singapore for about 3 days already :)

it just felt soooo good when the plane touched down yknow! Esp when it went, The local time and temperature is.. !!!! Im emphasizing on the local, cuz it means Im back home. To feel associated and a sense of belonging in the midst of the humid air = Im really home. So touched to see my family, grandparents, shemales and guy friends that I've never expected to come :')

Went home, greeted by a room so 'neatly' packed on the outside but deep down I know it's so incredibly untidy :( Can't resist the urge to reformat (pc language haha) my space!!!

It was CRAZY! I didn't know I had soooooo much little trinkling dingdongs here and there, I threw away a big bag of stuff though

I swearrrrrrrr it was much neater after that, even though jerriel said there was no diff :/
but I felt something was missing.. I don't know, maybe it's my perfectionist/OCD/simply weird perk acting up on me! hahahaha so I made jerriel go to IKEA with me today ;)

Will read up the whole lecture book by today and do past year papers tomorrow, hopefully I won't die by this weekend because Chemistry is next tuesday! & BAM. IM DONE WITH MY FINAL EXAMS :) .... and I WILL BE GOING BACK TO SINGAPORE ON NEXT SATURDAY!!!!!!!!!!!

hello world im so sick of drama and all the little things that's been going on in my life.
Never thought i'd say this, but right now all of these are simply spilling out as I type, so smoothly and yes... non-stop.

The pillowgod's like one of the striking characters though, but Im really really bad at acting as the protagonist hahahaha, and oh yeah we're also thinking of the pillowgod costume!

My 18th birthday is COMING omgwtfbbq Im actually about to be legal! I can watch M18/R18 in melby, buy drinks, enter clubs and smoke legally! Which is a pretty cool thing teehee but I guess I'll never smoke at all :) But the thought of being half-adult is really really WOW, and 21 is a full adult!

I LOVE IKEA!! how can things be so nice and affordable at the same time? I can go on endlessly about why i love ikea, and i actually.. think that it's sooo suitable for a casual date. Yknow, the yummy food (MEAT BALLS), pasta etc C:

& I actually bought QUITE a number of stuff hmMmMm but I assure that I'll spend more time in my house now! It just makes the house look more homely with more furnishing. Im the kind of person that won't hesitate in pimping up the place that im living in no matter how long im gonna stay there!!! :) Comfort & Coziness ranks #1 hahahaha

Infact, my whole family's like that HAHAHAHA especially my mom :)

Can't believe we're ending our term 3 of school in 2 days! Im just left with chemistry presentation tmr and BAMM IM FREE OF ONGOING ASSIGNMENTS :) Wellllll Ive lots to do and oh well I'll just welcome life as it is..... & live happily :p

I really miss Singapore and my life back then, although silly but it's just awesome. The days when yknow no matter how the sky falls on you and you still have your family and soulmates. I miss being a local too, going AUNTIE UNCLE at all elder people :3 I MISS TAKING THE BUS TOO!!! Yeah i rarely take the bus here cuz its usually the trams and occasionally trains. Its times like this when I really really wanna go back to Singapore.

but when Im back, I'll miss the cool dry air of Melbourne, fancy how close our place is to the city... and the absolute freedom here. What I feel's that I grew up in Singapore, but mature in Melbourne. The independence required here is crazy, to do your own laundry, mop floors and stoves when it's greasy, sweeping because it's dirty, cook dinners when you're hungry, doing grocery shopping because you ran out of veg and meat, and buying toilet paper because you realised you have nothing to wipe your butt with :p

Im not complaining bout these duties, cuz im pretty used to it? and on the contrary, I kinda like it. It's like being in control of your whole life where you know everything that is going on, like OH SHIT I FORGOT TO MAKE MY BED TODAY!!! & OMG i left the windows open! DAMN GONNA BE DUSTY & OH time to empty the kitchen bin cuz it's soooo full :)

HAHAHA Im going to enjoy every moment of my life, be it in Melbourne or Singapore! Enjoy studying, working hard, stressing out to the fullest because I know one day when I look back, I'll miss this life. Not letting any thing bring me down :p but what is life without troubles and setbacks! I'll welcome everything that is coming to me, and treasure every moment. Can't believe it!!!!!!! now I have a keyboard sitting in my house :') Its a yamaha p-95 & it feels just right! Not as amazing as a real piano but at least the touch is there. I can even combine 2 sounds together! Like strings for the treble clef area and grand piano for the bass area.

IT'S AWESOME! & I had a tough time getting it from the music store thou, no cabbies initially wanted to pick me :C Nearly thought I had to lug it home on a trolley but YES I WAS SAVED!

Then pathetically trying using the college square trolley to bring it up to the 9th floor (yes im staying on the 9th flooor! EXPERIENCE THE VERY HOT AND VERY COLD WEATHERS :D), and I was miraculously saved again!!! By yonathan and his friends omg thank god for them passing by, without their help i would have took 30 minutes to get it up.

Why of course I immediately set it up when it first touched down ;)

ITS MY BOYFRIEND omfg how can I not make him look prim and proper in his new house?

Been busy with stupid gossip girls which is strangely addictive! They're always making up and out and then fighting and whatveer allllllllll comes in and they'll do it cuz weellllll that's so prevalent in the show! BUT it is effing addictive :)

& biology! Presentation is next thursday: moi partner Leni and I are researching on the topic Tay Sachs Disease. It's a heartbreaking disease that I actually emo-ed after learning it for the first time. hahhahaha we'll do well! right leni? :D

They had to be countries undergoing some sustainable development so I chose South Africa and initially Zimbabwe, but they're just neighbours and the contrast wouldn't work well so I picked NORTH KOREA!

Yknow I initially wanted to do something on animals, but robin said it wasn't academic enough. Anyway Presentation's this thursday so wish me luck! ^^ it's graded man 20%(?) of EAP mark i guess!

Autumn is officially here to hug us which explains the freakishly cool weather these days. Last week I dressed so summerish and this week changes. Melb is annoying like that :) I totally forgotten how to dress in winter style! Im craving for a pair of leather boots and a oversized knitted pullover.. MORE KNITS PLZ! :D

Im HOI-ing now, pretty tiring cuz the language's way too intriguing in a fuzzy way hMmMm.. so yeah HOI is actually History Of Ideas, its a compulsory subj. which mainly revolves around how ancient philosophers think. Such as Plato, Socrates.. Ancient Rome, Greece and the medieval (middle ages), and followed by the Renaissance etc.

Sis thinks its cool but trust me when u get to the essay doing part, you'll wanna faint & wake up believing that the essay's a dream.

celebrated Leni's birthday today with jack, christabel, ivan, weiyan and jacky :) Im seriously surprised at how frequent Im hanging out with em now, so unlike me. They're all reaaaaallly nice people and I found another side of me when Im with em. Sounds ridiculous but yes!!!! Haha and yes, I miss hanging out with jason, gyu, vonny, nic etc. Those were the days :)

So the class is split into 3 teams: 1 opposition, 1 proposition & 1 panel of judges. We're given about a week to do research on the topic and tomorrow we're gonna debate!!! I sound excited but im actually pissed, hahahahah cuz its not even graded!

Like seriously and our team spent more than 2 hours after school collating information today. omg hahaha but it's to please our teacher Robin! cuz he's having his last lesson with us next tuesday :'( & yeah HE'S AWESOME.

EAP is one class I never ever thought of dozing off/slacking in my own world :)

Today I knew my sem 1 best 4 average, omfg its 91% :') not scholarship material but Im pretty happy with ittttt. Must be my first HOI essay that pulled me up, my chem totally sucks & Im not afraid to show it: 68.9% ! HAHAHA i will seriously pull up my socks and get at least a 85% for sem 2. So i shall not give up on HOI and proceed to advanced level incase my chem goes haywire :)

& now: Im supposed to be researching on sustainable development for my OP but im blogging cuz its fun.

Slept at 8:30pm last night, & woke up around 5am!!!!!

Sun rose around 6:52am?
so its 7am now and im about to write my chem report prep for lab later.

Accidentally fell asleep while burying myself in candide, annoyingly funny lit novel that I can't ever seem to finish reading. MY CANDIDE EXAM IS NEXT TUESDAY THOUGH. roar :)

Yknow, i bet 2 weeks from now I won't have much of a life, cuz EVERYTHING is to be done on/by the next 2 weeks. Everybody's mentally suffering at least to me it is.

23rd feb- math test

1st march- lit exam on candide

2nd march- math test

9th march- math test

10th march- english oral presentation

11th march- HOI essay submission

16th match- math test

The math tests are nothing :) cuz they're like 1-2 questions long but each takes up 1% of the overall!!!!! scary mary. & what im worrying's bout my OP and HOI.

For oral presentation, Im doing on sustainable development relating to cattle donation etc hahahahahaha I LOVE animals so that will make it a more interesting topic to work on. JIAYOU STEPHYYYYYYYYYYY

& HOI ESSAY RAWR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! bet it is everyone's main fussing priority, except for those bullet speed workers. Printed 4 sets of secondary sources yesteray and christabel gave me 2 (:D), wheeeeepeee I will start my essay today! Wanted to do it on monday night (yesterday) but I WAS SO FUCKING MENTALLY TIRED that I didn't want to wake up to slog through the moonlight, wallowing in self-pity.. and how fucking disappointed I was. So yeah, here I am at 7:20am now. Not that early, but at least I get to see the sun rise :)

First day of school was pretty good I must say? Bio lecture on introductory genetics like mitosis, meiosis all the tinytiny stuff in action :)

Drama was fun tooooooo! We have to come up with a short performance as a group according to a poem. Teeheeeeeee I don't wanna talk about HOI lec cuz I really tried attending and tried copying notes but I still freaking dozed off.. once again >:@

SO today was good cuz sis and I beached again! :D Went to the south melbourne beach initially but its way to shelly for us, too many seashells strewned on the shores!

Couldn't walk properly without worrying bout hurting your feet. & I SAW PLENTY OF DEAD JELLYFISHES 8) which are pretty cool, they feel like agar agar ..

Does being fake means to not have genuine feelings about something? It kept ringing in my head today. Like a question unconsciously burning.. totally meaningless, but yet intriguing. I had to pause my thermochemistry revision, to actually think about it. WHAT A WASTE OF MY TIME. Then again it's my decision, at least im being truthful about this.

I need my friends back. Revision is stealing all of them away! Been mostly studying @ home alone and missing out quality time. I know exams are important, but friendships mean a real lot to me too :( I love all my friends from hi-bye friends, normal friends, good friends, to close friends. Best friends is quite a doubtful term, at least for me I guess. Best childhood friends would work well though. Anyway.. Close friends mean wayyy much sweeter :)

To me, friends are like life examples of karma. You treat them well with love and attention, they'll love you back. It may take months, years .. or maybe decades, but at least you've gain a trustworthy, loving friend. What's in between will be the memories shared & the times spent together will always be reminisced. It's a special bond, like a connection between you and that special person.To work, both sides have to understand each other's personality and occasionally give in to each other. No one is perfect so we all make mistakes and problems are part and parcel of a friendship.

Good friends influence one another, so a pair or a group of close friends will share a similar personality. Albeit slightly different, but what's similar brings close friends even closer together. There will be hard times, and to be able to tide over it and remain as close as before proves that the friendship is definitely a keeper. Very Honestly, I treat my friends the way how I like people will treat me because its a nice feeling, but then again I pretty much physically drifted apart from my close buddies in Singapore. Verbally as well. I hope all things will be right and just as well when Im back home.. emotionally connected, I really hope.

I don't even know what's the main point behind this post hahahhahahahaa, it's just this thing inside me that I need to get out. Im pretty stressed out by my studying and I really.do.miss.my.social.life. Going to take a shower now and then out to bouverie to seek last minute advice from the Chemistry maestro :)

Been doing math and chemistry in rotate these few days, I have loads to revise! Cant emphasize how packed life is now :c

Spent yesterday @ Palmy dining hall doing math till dinner time. Dinner was gooooood, was thai green curry with broccoli! AWESOME curry but with broccoli is pretty weird hehe. Studied longer & went out for dessert with clare eugene & mayyyyy :) WE WANTED FREDO'S! and basically any gelato store along Lygon but the queue's like 1000 people long so we settled for a cozy cafe & had cakes :)

Toblerone cheesecake (!) Didnt like the cheese though! What a waste :c Shouldve gotten Tiramisu!

THEN, we went 7-11 and bought nail polishes: Each @ 2bucks! How worth it, so we had some nail polish party afterwards at Euge's room. HAHAHHAHAHA even Euge bought one bottle of super dark purple. Our nails were really colourful, mine's RAINBOW ^^

Im sick of prints and colours all of a sudden, so im going all-white now! Im back in Singapore for 1 week, 1 day already. That's after studying till 0530 in the morning! so i woke up at 0830 and walked to class.
